Our staff is the cornerstone of Rip City Training Center. Our coaches are some of Southwest Virginia’s most respected, and our support staff ensures that everything is always running smoothly. Rip City Training replicates the conditions and situations Baseball and Softball players encounter in game play. Our training programs transfer indoor skill to outdoor skill that can hold up to the pressures of competition so players can take their elevated game onto the field. We correct common issues such as striking out a lot, lack of power, too many groundballs, etc. Pitchers not throwing strikes, lack of velocity, sore arm, etc. Infielders misreading groundballs, bad throws, etc. And Catchers passed balls, too many stolen bases, etc.

TRAINING PACKAGES
Our training packages are ideal for players of all ages and skill levels. Dave Christianson (Baseball) and Ron Reynolds (Softball) have 30+ years each of coaching and training experience. We offer Professional Training for Hitting, Pitching, Catchers, Infielders, and Outfielders. We use the latest technology such as Slow Motion Video Analysis, HitTrax, Rapsodo, Driveline, Power Wedge, Velo-Pro, etc. We also offer Explosive Power Baseball and Softball Specific Strength Programs.
TEAM RENTALS
Rip City is home to several baseball and softball teams. COACHES...When you practice with us you leave your equipment at home! Nothing to bring-Nothing to carry! We provide EVERYTHING your team needs to have a Full and Productive Practice. We offer affordable Team Rates and design Packages specific to any need or budget. Teams train with us year round and often take pre-game BP here, Call our Team Rental Hotline at 540-314-0956 when weather or wet fields cancel outdoor practices and games.
CAMPS & EVENTS
We have Training Camps throughout the year for teams and players who want to focus on Hitting, Pitching, Power Throwing, Catchers, Infielders, and Outfielders. We also offer Functional Movement Assessments and Explosive Power Programs.
